We both love animals and nature, both grown up in families with dogs.

We live in a house in the south of Austria with a big garden for our dogs.

Our animals are not only for shows or for breeding, they are our pets and we love them!
We share our home with our three border collies, a police dog, two Maine Coon cats and a parrot named “Giacomo”.

Our dogs are with us all the time. Gernot takes the border collies with him to work and Lisi the duty dog “Red Hot Chili Pepper”.

As Lisi spends a lot of time at home she has enough time to train the dogs and play with them or just sitting on the couch, looking at the television.

So, why do we have dogs and why do we love them so much?

Lisi:
My mother was breeding German Sheepdog when I have been a young girl. I trained them for shows, spent my weekends at the dogschool. I also played with the puppies, went to the river and was swimming with them.”

Gernot:
My granddad was a forest ranger and had hunting dogs at home.

Our whole life is full of Border Collies, we are taking part on several seminars, reading many specialized books about breeding, psychology and dog – behaviour.
