News 2014

  • We use the beautiful autumn days as often as possible to work the dogs at sheep - and Daisy and Grace just love it! Have a look:

  • My debut as a breed judge took place at the CAC Show in Traiskirchen, Aut.
I would like to thank you so much for an incredible entry of 166 in total: 62 Shetland Sheepdogs, 54 Border Collies, 34 Rough Collies, 7 Bearded Collies, 4 Smooth Collies, 4 Old English Sheepdogs and 1 Welsh Corgi Cardigan.
Due to this huge entry Mrs. Soltesz took all Babies-, Puppies- and Veteran classes, such as Sheltie and Rough Junior classes. A huge „Thankyou“ to the helpers for the nice autumn decoration of the rings.

It has been a lovely day, thank you, too, Mario, for your support and and beinig a great secretary. The judging took many hours, but I think, especially clubshows should encourage new handlers to come to our shows and present their dogs, sometimes handlers and dogs were quite unexperienced and I had to give them several chances to present their dogs to their best.
Not only beginners but also some champions were entered and I would like to say thank you that you came to hear my opinion!

My Best In Show was MultiCh „Canyonland A Beautiful Mind“ – Abby, bred and loved by Mag. Ingrid König-Zechmeister, Aut. Although 13 years of age, she showed pure quality and ran her competitors into the ground.

My BOB in the roughs went to a young merle bitch, lovely made and presented, she showed a powerful and correct movement.

My Best Sheltie was a young male out of Intermediate class, full of quality and with lots of presence.

    Thank you for the Fotos!
